Equinox Energy Performance Certificates
An Energy Performance Certificate, or EPC, is an assessment of a domestic properties’ performance rating in terms of its energy efficiency and environmental impact, to help reduce CO2 output. It takes into account factors such as insulation, heating and hot water systems, ventilation and fuels used, as well as the age of the property to produce the rating.
The energy efficiency rating is a measure of the overall efficiency of the home. The energy rating of your property will be graded A-G. A – being a high energy efficiency rating, G – being a poor energy efficiency rating. The higher the rating, the more efficient the home is and the lower the fuel costs are likely to be.
