Who can apply for the Green Deal?

It is the Government’s intention that the the Green Deal will be available to all property owners, both commercial and residential. Tentants as well as owner occupiers will be able to apply for the Green Deal.

The Green Deal is meant to be aimed at both businesses and home owners although so far the majority of the PR has been aimed squarely at the homeowner. Business owners shouldn’t lose heart though as the Return On Investment in all the measures should be greater for businesses in most cases. Social housing tenants will be eligible for the Green Deal as long as the local council has singed up to be involved.
